Natural disasters frequently occurred in various regions, and ancient ruins known as Orphans were discovered in the deep sea, throwing the world into chaos.

One day, Hima Utsunomiya, who was piloting a Brain Powered, was attacked by two Granchers piloted by Yu Isami and Canaan Gimos, members of the Reclaimer organization loyal to Orphan. Hima became angry at the two, who believed that Orphan’s will was absolute justice. Overwhelmed by Hima’s anger, Yu and his companions eventually withdrew. One year later, Yu began acting to break away from Orphan.
